So, for those of you who have some experience in shooting...please tell me something about bullets....like for example, how would a bullet bounce / ricochet in a house.

Scene : Kitchen, with inch thick marble floor, full tiled wall, with some solid granite tops around...would a bullet bounce around if guns is fired onto the floor or wall for :

[a] a regular 556 rifle round

[b] a regular 762 rifle round

[c] steel jacketed/steel core round

[d] soft 9mm

Not only do pieces of the bullet ricochet, they break apart hard surfaces (like marble), and now there are shards of marble flying around too.

but the amount of ricochet generated vary from different types of ammo...right.

My assumption is that soft lead 9mm would just got mushroomed on the hard surface instead of bouncing around...but that's just my guess. If only I can try...

Well if your going to shoot a wall for some apparent reason to prevent blow back of shrapnel have the weapon almost on top of the surface your shooting at. Can't guarantee you wont get hurt shooting at marble at any distance with a hand gun thats 9mm though lol.

By that logic of yours,......if a majority of the people want firearms to be banned,...then the president or congress can fall back on them (the opinion of the majority) to controversially abolish 2nd amd.....right ???

While I was amused by this comment, I have a couple serious responses.

First, this site is private property. The Second Amendment is supposed to relatively free of infringement from the government, not an owner of private property.

Secondly, Protected Speech is a concept that has been around since the second Presidency of the US. Only two SC Justices in the history of the entire court have believed Free Speech should be without limits.
