I have large collection of movies, books, series, and music. I am a bit obsessive about the whole collection being perfectly organized and looking good. Every movie, series, book, and album has it's own folder, and each folder has a single image file and the folder is set to display that image on the folder.

Recently, the images have been getting mixed up. When I go into a folder, it will sometimes display the picture from another folder, instead of the picture that is in it. Is there a way to fix it short of going back into the folder customization menu and choosing the right picture to display every time I open a folder?

I've read that sometimes this problem can be fixed by deleting the thumbs.db file in the folder so that it gets recreated next time it is opened, but I have my folders set to not cache thumbnails.

I should imagine that if you had a sub folder in the initial folder that contains the movie, the movie wouldn't appear in the thumbnail.
then have only one jpeg in the initial folder.
or maybe you may need to go deeper with folders.
Have a second layer folder that has no images.
