Just picked this up yesterday. I've been hearing about it lately but haven't been able to find a review so I just got it anyway. And it's not like I care what reviews have to say.
I haven't had the time to play it all that much but it does look pretty cool. Different than your regular PRG is to say the least. Basically you "level" by doing shit in favor of certain Gods that have blessed your hero. You have 4 diablo-esque skill trees where you can spend your deeds and accomplishments in. The mythological feel is superb, if you're into that sort of thing.
Graphically the game is okay. It runs on the unreal engine but it does not deliver in terms of pure graphical quality. This however can be easily overlooked by the game's fluid animation and awesome design.
I quite like the combat system. Especially since I bought it expected a regular hack&slash game. Because that's what previews have been calling it. It has a super simplified version of God of War or Devil May Cry combo system, but it's a warm welcome over the agonizing combat of Elder Scrolls.
Anyway, I can't yet say if the game is good or not because I'm only an hour into it, so I'll update this thread later with my findings. When I get around to it... I got Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Rise of the Argonauts and the new Spyro game (fuck you! i play it co-op with the wife) and I'm still getting Mirror's Edge and Resistance 2. Basically, December, January and February will be busy months for my couch.
