View Full Version : Why Hate Techno & Trance
Techno and Trance is very popular in Europe . In Fact they have Groups and Crazy people who play this type of music all day. But why is it not popular here in the States?
It is just because Americans love to hate it??
Do you like this form of music?
Techno was invented by Americans.
Maybe it's because we're more happy and like to party.. instead of dropping bombs on everyone.

Kraftwerk were more electronic / synth pop, but yes they were a big influnce on the creation of techno, which happened in Detroit, blending european synthesizer driven music with "various African American styles such as Chicago house, funk, electro, and electric jazz" (wiki).

You must listen to some really shit techno if you sum it up with 'waaahh' and various bleeps.
I like Techno and Trance. Electronica music in general. There is just so damned much to appreciate. But, then again, most of the stuff isn't for everyone. Each to their own, you could say.
The possibilities are "endless"... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electronic_music_genres)
