hi guys,

so,without giving too many details away, looks like i'm headed to jail for a weapons charge.wanting to avoid this,i'm thinking of heading over to indonesia.i live in australia.and yeah planning on going on a tourist visa and not coming back.my father lives there so i have somewhere to stay for the first month or so until i get on my feet.

what i'm after is thoughts, comments, personal experiences with overstaying visas,e.t.c.

i'll check back in the morning.

cheers.

It's an option.

Alot depends on how old you are and how long a term you'd be likely to serve. If you think you can face it then getting jail out of the way and moving on with your life is an option. Otherwise you wouldnt be able to come back to the country without this hanging over your head.

If you do go over there, just get a bar/nightclub or something set up in your dads name that you can run and make a living. I shouldn't imagine it'd be too hard to get false papers over there if you're prepared to pay as well.
