Without more information, this thread is useless.

An IP address is not some magic number that lets you take over a machine. There has to be a vulnerability; you have to find that vulnerability and exploit it to take control. I seriously doubt that with just an IP address that you could even find a vulnerability -- I mean, you didn't even try checking if any well-known ports are open or closed, which would be the first step in actively probing the machines, and I also doubt that you did any passive surveillance beforehand.

It takes a lot of research to attack a machine successfully, in the vast majority of cases. Short of that, we can't help you no matter how much time you spend.

Oh, and don't post the IP addresses on the site or you'll be banned. I just wanted to make that clear before it becomes a problem.

What information do you need? Here's a partial list:

What operating system is running on each machine?
What server daemons (programs listening to requests from other machines) are running on each machine? What are the version numbers?
Is the machine a PC (x86-32 or x86-64), a Sparc, a Mac PowerPC, or a Mac Intel (x86-64)?
If it's running a web server, are the scripts on it custom-written or available publicly? Do you know the version numbers?
Does the machine have data execution prevention?
Have you checked for programs running on non-standard ports?
Do you know any trust relationships between machines? (Sometimes a computer is programmed so that if a connection comes from another computer, it automatically gets higher levels of access.)
Are the machines part of a Windows domain? If so, which machine is the domain server? (Don't confuse with DNS.)

And this goes on and on. Of course, I'm assuming you want to enumerate enough information that you'll have maximum chances of getting in. Entire >1,000 page books have been written about this stuff -- I really can't even come close to competing. Most of what I've listed is trivial to get using widely-distributed tools (nmap for example).

You're actually right. I'll close this, and he can start a new thread once he starts finding out what he wants to learn about. It'll take him a few weeks to figure out what I've already posted anyway, if he actually looks into it.
