I graduated from High School about half a year ago, ever since I've held a couple jobs just making money and kind of doing the chilling thing with all my friends and shit, lately though in my group of friends I chill with theres been drama, I dumped my girlfriend, lost my job, and overall everyone from my class has moved so there's no party's it's just boring around here with nothing to do, I kind of just want to get the fuck out of here. What i want to do is in this upcoming semester go to a community college up in tampa where some of my family lives. The thing is that I really do want to move up there I just cant seem to make myself do it. I've always been really social, and I dont want to move up there leaving behind all my friends and not know anyone, Ill have no friends and just chill with my family and study all day... The positive to my situation is I will be living in some on campus housing so I'd be sharing a house with several other people so I'd obviously get to know them assuming there not shitty roomates.
Also, if I go up there my mom offered to pay for my school so I wouldn't even need to have a job. I have some decent connects down here so I was debating on maybe starting business up there with some nugz or something else and maybe I could meet people through cliantel..
What are your advices on what I should do, is it relatively easy to meet people in the college situation, what are somethings to do to get into the whole scene, should I even go?

First thing, if you have no friends, no job worthwhile, nothing to keep you attached to your current situation, you need to grow a pair, GTFO, and go to school. You know this, so just do it.

Meeting people is pretty easy in college, especially if you are living with other people. You're lucky to have on campus housing at a community college, it will be much easier to transition into the school and college life.

As far as selling weed, I would say hold off on that for now. For one thing, you don't know you're roommates situations. My roommate freshman year was the type of person who if he saw weed he would shit a brick. I never understood this, he always said his friends at home smoked but me smoking was the reason he thought I was an idiot and why we were never friends. Whatever, he dropped out of college and is still a total faggot. Wait, meet your roommates, if they are cool, assess the current market (7/10 people smoke marijuana in american colleges, its never that hard to find a dealer on a college campus), if it seems reasonable to start selling, go ahead. Just remember the risks you are taking -- you can possibly be kicked out of campus housing, charged with possession or intent to distribute, or the worst, expelled.

If you can't make friends in college you are a failure. This is coming from a failure who absolutely could NOT make any friends in HS or junior high. I see students from my old HS all hanging around with each other and that's the absolute worst thing to do in a college environment. nshanin, I'm kind of the opposite. Had friends in high school, difficulties in college. Fair enough, I went to the complete wrong kind of school for me, a big ass party one, when I should probably be at a quieter smaller school, or for financial reasons, community college. Everyone is too cliquish and shallow here. I guess I have to dig deeper to find people I like, but I have no time to do so.

OP, you're wasting your life where you're at, and you'll waste your life going to college if you don't actually want to LEARN something. What do you want to study? Your mom offered to pay for your schooling. All you have to do is fucking pick something and do it, yet you sound like a typical post-high school stoner. Onasis is also wrong about pot. 7/10 American college students do not smoke pot. Maybe in certain areas, but as a whole the percentage of students who regularly smoke is very small. A lot of people will experiment with different drugs while in college, but very few keep it up as a habit, especially students who are serious about their studies.

Onasis also forgot to mention that any type of drug conviction leads to loss of ALL federal financial aid. You will receive $0 in aid if you caught with pot, in addition to any other charges you get slapped with.

Furthermore, and I can't believe I even have to say this: going to college to be a drug dealer is fucking retarded. You'd be better off just living there as a dealer and not wasting your time with school if that's what you're planning on doing.

lol I'd like to note that I pulled that statistic out of my ass and obviously having a drug habit while maintaining good grades in college is extremely difficult. And I agree with the last thing you said as well.
