Stupidity gerally with a dash of being nieve and uneducation / supervision

if your talking about the reason why it blows a limb of generally the explosive comp within fireworks is contained in somthing or modifyed in some way to cause a defect as im sure you know when flame propgates across a explosive pressure and heat builds causing a defect in the caseing or ultimate failure this extreme pressure usally has enough force to take a finger along with it .. either that or the shrapnel

"Light fuse and retire/move to a safe distance."

If they don't follow these directions, theres a strong chance that they are going to get fucked up. (At some point)

People just don't use common sense. So it eliminates some of the retards... BUT we get more regulation. So the people who are responsible and safe get penalized because there are retards out there.

Makes no sense.

Also half the people that use them don't know how much heat is being produced from the mixture. Which is likely to burn

Also, people going "HURRDURR, me put explosive in hard, sealed container"
