Wherever I walk around my town, I am constantly bombarded with music, yelling and screaming. I understand when yelling and screaming has a purpose; such as if you get mugged. However, yelling and screaming just for the purpose of doing so tends to make me a bit enraged. It's not an acceptable level of noise for casual communication. It's like watching apes get excited over flinging shit.

The yelling and screaming doesn't have as many problems as the music though. If I'm trying to concentrate or travel along my way, stand in a queue etc, I don't want your music* forced on my ears. People like this are a clear example of stupidity and the general level of accepted apathy, intolerance and ignorance due to blindly accepting the status quo. There is a reason why the planet is doomed to be fucked and why so many intellectuals and social comics are misanthropic. It's you people. So shut up already.


*Rap is not music. It is a combination of non-sensical soundbytes and butchered syntax (rhymes and lyrics) that sometimes manage to form a coherent beat. In the next generation or two, rap will be hopefully be forgotten. Listening to it does not make you "gangster" or "cool". It simply makes you look like another pawn of society, blindly following the trends of the swarm.

rap is a form of music whether you want to admit it or not. especially since it makes so much money. and just because the beat is not pleasing to your ear doesn't mean it is classified as 'less than'. it does make a beat. if you can jig to the rap, beat, or whatever i consider it a form of musak.
meester you should think about music, or genres you decide to criticized. cause i know people who could say the same about metal [i love metal, but if you come down to it it is just a person screaming, which you hate, in a microphone] who is anyone to decide what should be classified as music. music was never really made for you pleasure anyhow. it is a job for musicians, passions.
also i would like to see you try and perform one good rap and get praised for it by millions.
