This movie looks quite good. I think on a deeper level this could be a critique of multiculturalism.

I'm halfway through this it's fucking hilarious at parts. Clint Eastwood just pulls up to three black guys in his truck and says "What the hell are you spooks up to". I had to pause it until I quit laughing. Then he ends up pulling a gun on the niggers and the way he tells them to shut up is hilarious. Then the wigger tries to compliment Eastwood and he tells him "Shut up pussy".
So it's still paused right now but I had to come post about it.

In the end it will probably be super happy multicultural fun time where Eastwood dies to save the Asians after he "breaks down his racial barriers" or some shit but this movie has some hilarious moments.

I am going to have to make a gif of the spook scene though.

I think that I'm more interested in checking this one than Changeling. I don't think Chnglng has the laughszors.

I watched about half of it. The storyline wasn't too bad but his acting really didn't seem to fit the part. He reminded me of Solid Snake.

Just watched it, thought it was excellent. I was surprised with the sheer amount of ethnic slurs in the film, some of the stuff Eastwood came out with was hilarious, especially when he kept calling that chick "Yum Yum".

That's what so great about it. I think it's just Eastwood taking another jab at Spike Lee. That's why it's extra funny when he tells the black guy to shut his fucking face. He said (without the curse) the same thing about Spike Lee in real life in an interview.

Thought it was a pretty good movie, suprising since I really don't like Eastwood.

At some scenes he fully convinced me he was the most badass mother fucker on the planent without saying a single word. I think all of the characters were spot on, the priest, his barber shop friend, even num num and toad.

I love the scene where his grand daughter asks what he plans on doing with his car when he dies. He just spits and makes a facial expression that would scare the shit out hardened inmates on death row.

This movie was easily my favorite of all 2008.
One main reason? The constant swearing, I know, it's crass, but really, the ability to use so many slurs in so many colorfull ways had me giggling in my seat. I especially liked the scene, grilling in the bacyard with asians, how he "loveingly calls the sister of toad "dragon lady"
I liked the realism of this film, and I liked the view of what "a man" was (job car woman) was good for a little intro spection into Clint's character, and how he believes the world should be structured.

I made up a drinking game watching this film.
Everytime clint groans aloud. you know his "ugggghhh" you take a shot. He tends to not do it as much in the latter half of the film but I promise you'll be smashed.

Yeah it had me by the balls the whole movie, and just like everyone else who has seen the movie. Definitely lots of great insults and racial slurs I have never heard.

I do wish there was a scene of him driving around in the Gran Torino smoking a cigarette just being a badass.
