IMO you guys need to realize this isn't Spurious Generalities, Better Living Through Chemistry, Bad Ideas or any of those half assed forums that are so large they are uncontrollable. In W&C there is only need for 1 main moderator for a reason, people are helpful, mature and adults. We give everyone what we have to offer and its one of the last few places you will find. I have met some knowledgeable folks here and if you want this site to be a one stop shop for all your needs like Totse tries to be as deranged as that sounds then contribute. Remember if you ruin a forum with your name good luck at every finding answers here again. People here tend to remember personalities and are quick to judge if you sounds like a old time poster who just changed his name.

I give it until Jan. 2nd when all the children have to go back to school for things to return back to normal. Insulting the main mod? I know I normally speak for myself, but Random isn't some British tart that will go home crying to his mother at the news that someone is insulting him. Insult me, I don't care.

My point is that if someone is obviously disrupting forum decour, he should be removed. He made one thread here and then moved on to SG where he was promptly banned by Rev. Ziggy. I admit I tolerate much on both of my forums (and Random's, since we mod together, right? ;)).

My philosophy is that if a person isn't causing obvious trouble he should be left to public opinion as to whether he is a good or bad poster. My job is to make sure my forums are on topic, or are generating appropos discussion. To wit, I try to conduct the forums I mod in a way such that it's regulars behave themselves and the topics are on DIY and improvement on one's self (somewhat overlapping of SG and RY, but w/e) and on the topic of cars in general.

I am glad to say I am quite proud of my regulars in GH as they conduct themselves quite properly and informatively, necessitating that neither I nor Nereth by close-by at any given time. The same with DIY. The regulars behave themselves and they learn from each other. I do not ask anything else from them and I let them learn whatever they wish. I try my best to NOT use my moderator powers at all because I believe that the forums will moderate themselves by rational discussion. I leave my powers alone until someone comes along with irrational "discussion" like spamming and the like, which caanot be moderated by the regulars.

I'm quite lit, so please accept this as sincere as I can possible be. I am sincerely gald I have the regulars to be there when I am not. Likewise I am sure R_L is as well to this forum. That he knows well the forum isn't going to turn to shit the second after he leaves thanks to you guys.

This is why I don't like the way Meta mods. The way he thinks is extremely rigid towards the forum description, and anything else he comes up with in the mean time. I do not like that and I am very vocal towards that effect. I don't like the way SG has become since his reign and I make mention of it when I can. His methods might be fitting for BLTC, but not SG. SG advice won't kill you if you give bad information. (At least most of the time. ;))

Of course, I don't hate Meta personally. It is quite unbecoming of any Christian to hate and take things personallly. I just greatly disagree with how he runs things is all.
