Man, I love breakfast sandwiches. I could live off of them forever and ever. Specifically I mean combinations such as:
egg, cheese, and sausage (or canadian bacon...or bacon) on an english muffin (or biscuit or croissant). could also throw a hashbrown wedge or square on it, but it's been a while since i've done that.
But I don't know of any biscuits that come out as wide as those used in premade breakfast sandwiches in the stores or like at McDonalds. Those biscuits alone kick so much ass. What could I buy to use to make my own at home? Something like pillsbury grands?
What other combinations of shit, including bread, could go on the sandwich? Breakfast sausage has such a juicy, greasy taste that just pops with excitement. God I bought six of these sandwiches frozen and pre-assembled for $1 each at the store today. Just ate one and am trying to hold back from gobbling down the rest and then masturbating all over my wall triumphantly.
edit: How could I make a "folded egg" at home? Like what McDonalds has on their sausage biscuits with egg. It's like it's scrambled, not fried, so the experience is completely different. But it doesn't taste like a bland scrambled egg. Hell maybe they add sugar or grease to it. Whatever it is, it works.
I think McDonald's uses a powdered egg material, not actual eggs, so that may have something to do with it.
And while it's not actually a breakfast sandwich their steak McSkillet burrito is made of little more than pure win.
^^^Mcmuffins are a 'fresh grade A egg', but their scrambled type stuff comes in cartons like you can buy at the store. I think...

McDonalds breakfasts rock, I haven't had one in ages.
This morning though I cooked myself two eggs, a few strips of steaky bacon and a side of Mexican beans, it's my last day at work and I didn't really care about coming in late, usually I never have time for a cooked breakfast and I just eat a can of salmon really fast.
It feels so good to take your time and fill the kitchen with that lovely smell of bacon grease.
thizz all day

I don't know bout that one.... =\
Folded egg is easy, mix an egg, pour it in the pan and cook it like an omelette. Just fold it a couple times while cooking.... Even cut it into a square after its been cooked if you really want it perfect. Get a bagel, toast it and cook several slices of bacon. Butter the bagel a bit after it's been toasted, tear a slice of american cheese into strips to place around the bagel, put on bacon and egg.... You can either put the whole thing back on the frying pan for a couple minutes to melt the cheese or put it in the microwave to melt it.
Sometimes I get the bagels at safeway bakery like the jalapeno cheddar ones or asiago cheese, they are bigger and better tasting. Fuck that garbage at mcdonalds you can only consume when you're incredibly stoned.

To me the breakfast sandwich has room for improvement in the condiments department.
Greasy n' good?
Yes.
But what would you *skeet* all over it?
Or maybe add some bitter greens like spinach or another salty component like good olives?
Anyone have breakfast burrito pimping-out experience?
In other news, I love making square, half-burned egg patties. Nothing like taking something unbalanced and round and making it into a firm yellow square. Then you can draw faces on it with stuff.

nah i worked there for a bit, and they use real eggs, and its a bitch having to crack 300 eggs on the morning shift!
and the mcskillets use real eggs also but the eggs come in half gallon containers that the eggs are already beaten and. ready to be scrambled

I don't think they do any more I worked there for like 3 weeks like 2 months ago and everything was either in the half gallon containers or those instant eggs in the yellow paper cartons

You could put jelly on an english muffin or biscuit sandwich. I've done that before. But usually the only condiment you need is the grease from the sausage/bacon.
I got this idea to use waffles as the bread of the sandwich. Even McDonalds hasn't tried that one yet. I wonder if I would explode upon eating one.
Forgot about bagels...don't really care for bagel sandwiches. Too hard. I like that soft warm goodness.

BLT on toast with mayo and an egg. simple. delicious. perfect. serve with fresh FRIED hash browns with gravy on the side. Sure, it's a heart attack on a plate, but it's worth it.

The world would be a better place if McD's had breakfast all day.

I concur.
Especially considering I work night shift at a factory and therefore don't get up 'til 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Being able to grab a McSkillet at that time would be pure win.
