check out my friends band, Wolverine. They have an All Out War/ bulldoze / crown of thorns feel, they just put up new recordings. Cancer is my favorite song. Fans of hardcore, tell me what you think.

You can definitely hear the influences of certain bands.
These dudes rule. They have an EP or anything out?

Wanna get me an email of one of the band members? Not a fan of conversing via Myspace.

I appreciate the semi-old school influence, but it's not really my style... a little too metal.
A recent old skool style band I like:

Saw em with a Danish neo-KBD band awhile back, hell of a live presence. Haven't heard the entire LP yet but I got the 7"s and they kill.

At the 2500 Club, a (recently closed) dive bar in Detroit, which is my hometown.
Interesting venue -- a mix of drunk downriver punks and drunk Cass Corridor bums.
