If a company wants to release media of an upcoming project to aid advertisement and fanbase development, great. But when a company knowingly releases such media annually simply to keep its fanbase on a leash, and lure the ignorant, I'm fucking disgusted. Over the years, no doubt you may have seen screenshots - obviously now outdated and not a clear representation of the game; and movies much the same, or worse - pre-rendered crap of Duke doing curls (what the fuck was that about). I've seen companies do exactly the same in the past, and I always choose to ignore the hype. Seeing I'm a potential customer (just like everyone else), instead of dangling it around in front of people like a carrot on a stick, how about actually releasing the fucking game, and then I'll get excited.
