We've got users getting banned all over the fucking place for offenses that really deserved a warning, many users are getting banned for things that aren't even against the rules, posts are being deleted and edited all over the place, threads are not being moved to the appropriate forums, threads are closed even though they are posted within the correct forum, good moderators are quitting one after the other out of disgust, zok and acidmelt are not responding to any complaints from the users about the over-zealous moderation, and, as Jeff Hunter himself said, users don't really count for anything around here anymore. If you were looking for an actual community, you've come to the wrong place.

I would highly recommend you people not to be so hard on Metaphysicist. Yes, he closes a few threads that shouldn't have been closed. Yes, he bans a few users who only really needed a warning. But keep in mind that he has also issued considerate warnings to many thousands of users before banning them, and he has locked thousands of threads for us that indeed needed to be locked. He has also worked very hard on the behalf of several users here who met some ugly fates by the hands of others, mediated it with administration, then got those persons back online here. Yes, he's pushy and a little extreme in his views, but isn't that the entire right of anyone who wishes to express their opinion here? Even if you flatly disagree with the information, and even if it is presented forcefully and often, is that a crime? No, it's not, and only whiny idiots like stupid noob would put up a huff about it. I remind you that Metaphysicist is actually a great guy to chat with, he has a great sense of humor, has a few lines that will crack you right up, and do you really want to see him gone for good? There are many other moderators and users alike here who have no sense of humor at all, the intelligence of a rock, and leave you wondering why the fuck you even come here, but Metaphysicist is not one of them. Well, let's see now. I've been up a tad over 4 hours now, and in all that time besides posting to you've I've managed to accomplish quite a bit. Take 3 business calls (scoring an appointment for later), chase 2 telemarketers away, process some invoices, answer a few emails, analyze some stats/film from yesterdays NFL games, played with my son (most importantly share a rib-pulling, tear-filled laugh with him), gone to the bank, gone to the post office, and helped my wife vent/problem solve an issue she is having at her work.

That doesn't include all of the other normal mundane things that happen every day in my life like having breakfast/lunch, showering, shitting, smoking a bowl, etc.

My apologies for still not replacing that tricky flourescent bulb in the kitchen and wrapping my wife's Xmas gifts......both of which I've been procrastinating around for a few days now. Perhaps if I came to you with those two tasks under my belt for the day, it would somehow give my posts more merit or validity?

Personally I found the whole notion quite lame and hardly threatening. Obviously a fork couldn't really incapacitate or kill someone unless stabbed in the eyes. Considering I have those baby blues that are quite light sensitive, I usually wear my shades 100% of the time while outside and quite a bit indoors as well. So the likelihood of Stupid Noob being able to actually stab me in the eyes with whatever fork is pretty damn slim. So at that point if he WAS close enough to even make the attempt of stabbing me......then he is within range of me launching an attack on him, and that end result would certainly be worse on him rather than me.

Basically, if he really was serious about assaulting me on the street IRL his best bet would be to scrounge up some of his fire-breathing shtick tools because at least at that point he can attack me from afar and have at least SOME semblance of a chance.

I've come to the conclusion that DaGuru is a master of argument. It's actually going on just about one year, and what you are trying to minimize as just a "butthurt grudge" has made some waves throughout this community. Hell, certain senior staff members won't even enter B & M anymore because they don't want to deal with the buzzsaw. Meta's great "involvement" in this thread is proof positive of how little he tries either. It's quite safe to say that my choice in how I conduct myself on these boards has an effect on countless other things that you are probably missing, but without you stating other specific questions I can't possibly begin to answer all of them.

The last I was officially tested/graded out about 5 years ago I put up 58 WPM.....so you do the maths. That is most certainly getting it done with some sense of efficiency, but hardly anything to brag about publicly. However, just like everything else....at least I'm honest.
