Does anyone know when the new necrophagist album is coming out? It was supposed to come out in September but it was postponed to some other date. I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Muhammed said in an interview that it should be release in time for 2009's Summer Slaughter Tour.

Shut the fuck up acolyte.
Thats the thing about necrophagist. Most of thier songs just sound like they could be the same song. But, luckily, that one song is really fucking badass.
The only thing I don't like about necrophagist is that the vocals are just simple and lack dynamics. It's just the same growl, same depth, no real change in pitch. However, if necrophagist had no vocals at all, they would still be a totally awesome metal band.

Know what would be even cooler?! If all music sounded exactly the same, and we had no musical diversity, just the same "badass" song over and over. How fun would that be.
I am not saying that Necrowankist is untalented, Muhammed is a sickass guitarist, and theyre bass player is also amazing. They play textbook tech death, and it gets old after a while

Yeah, I agree they can get pretty repetative. But, its still extraordinarily good as far as technicality goes.
I start to really enjoy necrophagist, when they find a consistent riff and stay within or around it for a little longer than is common for them. That's just my preference I guess.
Then there are the solo's... Fermented Offal Discharge is my favorite solo of all time.
