like copy some text then, w/out pasting, copy something else and still keep what you previously copied?

also, if you cant, do you like the idea?

You can in Microsoft office, or at least, you used to be able to. I'm not sure if they've retained that future or not, I haven't seen it recently.

Edit: I used checked on my installation of Word 2007 and it doesn't look like you can do it anymore. Maybe there's a way to re-enable that feature, I don't know. I definitely remember it from the past though. You'd get a little window with icons for the stuff you'd copied.

Wow that's REALLY gay! I even torrented Office 2007 because I was going to switch from 2003... Hmmm... even though I never used that feature it's still pretty gay that 2007 doesn't have it. Are you sure?

I seem to remember having a utility on the old school computers that showed a list of things you had on your clipboard, including images, and you could select which one to paste.
