What do you think of this, apart from it is way super sexy.

Keep in mind it is not a survival/camping/fishing/skinning/hunting knife before you comment on weight or steel.

I think it is gorgeous.

It doesn't look too faggoted (read: ninja), but it has that sexy 'I could kill you whilst wearing a black cocktail dress' look about it.

I know you don't want comments on the steel, but the price is steep for 440C. If it were S30V or even VG-10 or similar, I'd be less picky.

Pretty decent stiletto-esque dagger style.

To buy one locally is gonna cost me about $180AUD. But forget the price.

It looks like it would be good to show off, it is pretty.

I used to have a Al Mar Sere Operator (not sawback) but that got 'borrowed'. Those are S30V.

The thing I didn't like about it was that it was TOO light, and the grip didn't lend itself to fast and comfortable grip changes.

This one looks like any grip will work fine, perfectly ambidextrous, and not so light.

Al Mar's nice.

If you get either of the knives in this thread, let me know what you think of the handling.

It does look cool.

In regards to your Puma, I found this page of Puma bowies.

http://www.discountcutlery.net/en-us/dept_21465.html

Your knife doesn't appear to have markings on the blade like these ones, however.

Google the model (PUXXXXetc) to find more details.

mine is the origial bowie knife. the markings says 116396 handmade puma original bowie,
germany, 08/rc

it is weird they specify the type of stainless on the other knives but not on the original bowie.

The two Bokers I was looking at, for a decorative purpose, seem to have a more sinister purpose if looked at differently.

The fixed blade could be a fighter, assassin weapon.

The folder, purely last resort defence but definately an assassin weapon.

These are not tools, these are killers.

What do you think?

they look awesome. personally, ide go for the folder, just because of the concealability and comfortability (is that a word?), since double sided blades are illegal for concealed carry where i live, and because having huge ass knives in your pocket are bitches when your trying to sit down. i remember that once i had a fixed blade double sided home-made Italian dagger with a 6" blade. you might say it was excessive, but then ill just tell you how many projects i live near. anyways, are you going to buy either one of the blades you showed?
