I'm watching "Raw" tonight and it's just so obviously fake and absurd. I know that wrestling (WWF/WWE, etc) has always been fake, but this shit is borderline soap drama now. I want to go back to the days of Hulk Holgan, before he had stupid fucking kids, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. I'm so glad I don't watch this shit all the time.

Wrestling was entertaining up until I was about 13. Heh, man I used to really be into it. Few things could pull me and my friend back into the house at 8 or 9 at night in the summer, but Raw is War or later on, Smackdown, could do it. I went to three WWF shows in that span too. I remember having a shitload of the action figures and wrestling rings. But yeah, after I got older, it started to seem dumb. Not because it changed, I think it's just because I was older. I guess that TNA one is getting more popular these days and a lot of old WWF guys are on it now. I've never been interested in watching UFC.

Wrestling originally was just one sport in the 18 hundreds. Then it split into two sports competetive wrestling and show wrestling. Competetive wrestling is now the amateur wrestling you see at the olympics and show wrestling is what the WWE and other such things are.

And MMA shouldnt be a sport. It just uses moves (often simple ones) from different combat disciplines so you can beat the cunt out of the other person. The fights look shitty and uncontrolled. You can just go to a millwall or west ham game to see this sort of fighting. It's good for self-defence thats it. Boxing matches on the other-hand show the skill and discpline of the athletes, they have rules they must conform to and you have to learn good boxing skills to go far. You can't just be some big cunt sreet fighter.
