Wicked Japanese hair? Are you talking in regards to the likes of Anime characters?

If so, more hair products than hair should do the trick.

I have ShockWaves Ultra Strong Mess Constructor (I hope the guys in charge of coming up with that name got a nice Christmas bonus  ).

Anyway...That stuff I use is strong, but it's a goo so you might want to go get some similar strength wax for a quicker fix.

We don't get our haircuts at Supercuts and a lot of time is put into hair. If your looking for a product that we might use, Gatsby moving rubber is commonly used by the asian person. Our hair is also much thicker then a caucasian persons, if that matters.

Im mostly referring to the IRL people. Not really that far off from the anime styles though.

Especially the way they manage to texture their hair. I don't know if it's just their genetics, or something they do with products, or a little of both. It's like you're looking at their hair through 3d glasses.

I may have to try that stuff. Any general styling tips you could lend?

Well there's actually six different kinds of Gatsby moving rubbers. Each one is for a different style, so you'll have to find the right one for you. I won't go into detail about each one, it doesn't take long to research it though. As for tips on styling with it, each type of moving rubber has a video showing how to do it. If you were asking for styling tips in general, I can't be of much help. But I would recommend putting moose in your hair before drying it, it gives it a thinner more volumish feel.

As far as Gatsby goes, I use Loose Shuffle which is in an orange case, Wild Shake which is in a purple case, and Air Rise which is in a green case. I don't use Air Rise much, and I've wanted to give Grunge Mat a try. I would also recommend Gatsby hairspray and hair clay. If you have an asian market near you then you might want to look there for some. That's where I get mine. If you can't find it though you might have to resort to ebay.

Just a side note, if you need to keep your hair up with hair spray on top of product, you've just bought yourself cheap pussy gel.

Most of them look younger and androgynous which makes them able to pull of those anime hairstyles. Also, I think that Japanese women also like men with those hairstyles.
A white boy with a Naruto haircut just doesn't look that good. An example might be the upcoming Live-Action Dragonball movie.
They might also be spending a lot of time and money styling their hair.

When I want kewl anime style hair, I just french kiss a light socket.

Painful, yes, but it usually does the trick. ;)

An asian dude once said the secret to his hair was traveling the world...and finding these 7 balls...then like a dragon appears and you make a wish. He said he wished for awesome hair.

Any way....Asians need to put time and effort into having a unique hairdo, otherwise they all have the same hair.

Black hair, bowl cuts.

Found in asian supermarkets. Possibly in a 99 ranch store.

I'm half Jap. My hair is shitty. I just keep it cut mad short. I get my hair just shy of shaved, then I let it grow out a little and repeat.
