Tell the guy you want to buy the item your trying to steal and then walk around the store with it until you can lift it. I used to do this all the time. The cases are only used as a deterrent.

you have to have two things: aim and ninja rocks.

stand a couple of isles (sp?) back from the video game isle and chuck a ninja rock over. if you have good enough aim you should hear glass shattering. walk to the isle with the smashed glass, grab 2 or 3 games and leave. get on your getaway bike and circle the block then go the opposite direction of your house. ditch the bike and call your partner in crime. he should drive you to your house but don't go in, go in the neighbors house. after the cops come in jump out the window and walk in your house from the backdoor.

Anyway, if you wanna steal and you have some balls. Ask to buy it but, you should have a cart full of stuff your going to or NOT going to buy, ditch the card grab a bag from your pocket and an existing recipient with only a few purchases and walk past the greeters quickly, praying s/he doesn't want to see your receipt if s/he does run like hell.

All they can do is tell you some BS like it has to be paid for in electronics
Then you hit them with some BS about having to go get Mom or Dad to
come back there to pay for it. So just keep it at the counter till you get back.
Then when you don't return they'll just think Mom or Dad said no.
If you get lucky, they'll get busy helping someone else and leave it on the counter.
If you get this lucky just slide it past the security sensor (if any), grab it,
and head towards your blind spot.

On second thought you probably shouldn't try to get it past the security sensors
if they have them installed at the electronics entrance/exit.

I haven't seen anything walked to a front register in years.

I got an idea, steal enough shit, and make enough money to actually buy the unstealables. Or buy a broken XBox 360 on EBay, bring it to wal-mart and ask for a refund and they'll hook you up.
