Any idea what might be causing this?

I just got home a few days ago and I haven't had any problems until last night. It keeps shutting off a few minutes after I start to run utorrent (internet on this and other computers in the house doesn't work until you reset the dsl box). What's going on here?

Too much traffic / too many connections going through your router. You can limit the number of connections that your bittorrent client makes, limit the number of torrents you run at one time, and get a better router.

Try capping your upload speed and lowering global connetions to 200 or less, maybe that will take some stress off your modem. But it sounds like a heat/stress issue if you are having to power cycle it to get online again. If you lease the modem from your ISP theyll replace it for you, otherwise theyre cheap to replace.
