View Full Version : Lagging counter strike servers
Hi, lately I've been trying to crash/lag counter strike servers. Ive found that people have been using a program called csdos to crash NON-steam servers. Now I'm trying to see how I can do it/ or replicate the effect to real servers. I've tried pinging servers with a modified data size but the max i could get it to is 1,024 bytes, and I've set the number of pings to infinite. Right now I'm thinking that there's a faster way to do what I'm trying to do. Any ideas?

Buy a botnet and then ping it.

What he ^ said, only I would just build my own botnet to ping the servers.

Depends on the server software, but fragmented or faulty packets might fux up the server. You could even SYN, ignore ACK it to death.... Or just let the people play the damn game without lag.
There are in game scripts you can write depending on how some server side CVARS and mods are being used.
