Depends how it is. If its pasty-pale, ew. But if its beautiful creamy pale skin with dark hair and eyes, rawr. Also, pale sucks if it means she's gonna have a happy trail.

Tan is usually good but there are way too many overtanned jappy girls, which I honestly find pretty gross.

I prefer the lighter skin too. But a healthy tan isnt bad either... its just this trend of overtanning disgusts me. I can't stand to look at some of those girls. It makes them look like...leather or something. Not much turns me off more than girls with skin darker than there lips.

Ghostly pale, the kind with the blue computer-screen glow, is never attractive, nor is fake bake orange. I think it looks best when people have a little bit of color. I know some people who are so white that you can see all their veins under their skin, and a few others whose daddies buy them tanning minutes and so they're retardedly tan. One girl in particular tanned so much that she got burnt, puffy, and bright red, and looked like a scary lobster. Somewhere in the middle range is best, I guess.

Pale FTW! I'm blindingly white and can't tan even if I wanted to. I'm like Tinted Glass, I only burn then it peels then I'm back to normal. If I get a severe burn it might turn into a slight tan (and I use the word "tan" loosely), but my tan is still paler then most people are normally. I prefer pale boys too. The kind of light tan the people get in the summer is okay, but I find it very unattractive if someone deliberately tans.

As for on guys so long as it looks right, it's good. I'm ginger so don't tan at all and hate how you can see the veins in my legs, so just use a fake cream to cover that but still be whitish. I don't see how people can fuck up and turn orange. Streaky, sure but no oompa loompas.

On guys I prefer a slight tan. Just healthy looking, not rediculously brown or anything.

On girls I probably prefer pale. Although as people have mentioned, I don't like the deathly pale look. Where its all mottled and veins are visible and so they look eerily blue. But if you can pull off the pale look then good on you.

Personally I'm rediculously pale. Luckily it's pretty even and you can only see my veins on my upper thighs. A part of me which hasn't seen daylight in honestly 10 years.

i'm the opposite. if i spend like a day in the sun, that will carry me.. until freaking forever. the darker i get, the longer it stays, it fades through the winter, but i'm NEVER pale. I'd like to see how it would be if i was.
I don't ever get ridiculously tan. When I get MORE tan, i should say, it doesn't look ridiculous. I used to get darker as a kid, but that wore off.
But for me, i like tan dudes with dark eyes and dark hair. I also like them with dark hair, light eyes, or light eyes and hair.

i like pale guys. but i'm really really pale and i hate it. i have brown hair and green eyes and it looks bad all together. if i go in the sun or tanning bed, it only lasts for a few days unless i am constantly outside, which i'm not. it sucks though because everyone says i look better tan even my boyfriend, and i don't like being pale either.
