Look, I'm sorry to say this, but those pants are going to make anyone who wears them look like an idiot, no matter how "cool" you may be. Despite this fact, if you like them buy them, can't tell you how to live your own life.

Their not cool, unless you're doing some jumpstyle/hardstlye or whatever it's called.

I couldn't find them, but I'll tell you now that they're not cool and if I saw you wearing any of the stuff from that website in the street, I'd laugh.

I was thinking about getting a pair for raving... but then I decided that I would rather make my own pair which yes, will be a pain in the ass to do, but at least I won't be a tool who buys anything at hot topic.

Honestly, yes. This isn't a question of some minor fashion issue. Buying shit from there will make you look like a total fag. Not only are you gearing yourself towards a group that is generally looked down upon in terms of fashion sense (goths, punks, metalheads, etc), but you're going against the moral ideals of the groups by buying the clothes at high prices from a corperation.

For pants, I'd go with denim or khaki. Cargo pants are for 12 year olds. I own mostly Levi's slim or skinny fit jeans. They have some straight and slim fit jeans on that site, but I'd go with a brand that is maybe a little better known and probably of better quality.

It's a good idear to listen to other people's opinions on fashion, but there's a point where you have to say "fuck you, i do what i want".

I used to be into that style, the huge raver pants with all sorts of odd colors and zippers and crap, but I guess I grew out of it. Hot Topic ain't that bad. Not great, and sometimes they ask too much for their stuff, but they've got some kewl things there.

All I buy from them lately though are t-shirts, usually video game or comic designs. I recently found a fecking awesome Zelda wallet there. :)
