Id like to purchase a book on the basic details of networking. I'm an IT student at a big university, however they're not teaching jack so I'm taking this into my own hands.

Can anybody recommend a good book on the breakdown on general knowledge of networking?

(I already know C, Java and VB, im not interested in languages at the moment).
