I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade my current P4 laptop or just get a new one. Here's what I'm considering. Opinions?

Any thoughts on laptops offerring better than (W)XGA resolution, either Intel or nVidia graphics, and fast storage around the same price point?

Hmm.... I suppose I could take my chances with a second hand Dell Precision or IBM Thinkpad. Just checking eBay and they've got T60's and M90's for less than $800. Awesome.

Be careful, that processor will be somewhat of a bottle-neck. Also, you're not going to have very good battery life with that video card, a 17" screen, and a 7200 rpm drive. That may not matter to you though.
