i replied to a e-mail from a nigerian scammer made with a fake e-mail address and he wants my address and bank account number so he can transfer me funds to invest and i will get a 40% commission. If I give him a new bank account i make soon with a fake id what can he do with that info and will i be able to milk some down payment money out of him?
trying to scam a scammer? sounds like that will end well. /sarcasm.
the way this scam works is that YOU give THEM money. they don't ever send money to the mark.

if they thought i had money to give them but i needed some help before i could get it is there a chance i could get money out of them with the promise of paying them back the rest. kinda of like what they do in reverse.
so i tell the scammer that i have a $120k workcover pay out coming when i can gather $2000 to pay off my court fees so then he sends me 2k expecting 120k in return but i just cut contact. would any of them really be expecting that?

The money they send you will be counterfeit, just get the money off them in cash (or cheque, if it is get a middle man with shitty credit to cash it in for you). Then launder it into real cash. Easy peasy, no need for them to do it to your bank account. Make up some excuse, or just milk the ones on craigslist, it's easy to do.

i live in Australia so the money changers around here wont know US currency that well and will most likly take it so im fine with that but what line do you use to get them to send you cash?
so you are hoping to be the first person to get a nigerian to send you money? COOL! WOW!
really though, they don't send any fucking money. that is the scam. you send, they take, you get screwed. You won't get $2,000 or even $2 from these scammers no matter what story you tell.

They don't even have any money to send you....It's a scam.
They normally just send you fake bank emails saying, the money is on hold and you need to submit a tracking number before you get the money.

Money exchangers in Australia by law have to record the details of either your DL or passport. So if you try to present counterfeit money to them you'd get screwed.
And yes, they do know what US currency looks like, it's part of their job. Moron.

I think the most that has been made off the scammers is like $200 dollars, they obviousy don't really have any money to send which is why most of nigeria is scamming in the first place. You can see the details on one of those 419 websites that scams the scammers and strings them along. I don't know how they can send you counterfiet cash if they deposit it straight into a dummy bank account.
These people really are scum though, some people have actually been stupid enough to go down to nigeria to meet these people and get murdered as well as having their bank accounts cleaned out.

They have shit tons of money, they do it because they're greedy, like every other scammer.
You can make a ton off their counterfeit cheques that they send.

I mentioned it in the heaps o scams sticky thread.
And get them to send the cheques to a drop house or PO box.
Never your own, make no mistake they'll know fellow nigerian scammers operating in your area, especially if you live in the UK. A lot of nigerians come over to the UK to do these scams.
