although i agree that is a good solution... I think I may of not explained myself correctly..i meant the browser plug-ins to play flash videos and such

I only update if i have problems, and i disable update notifs to not get bugged by their popups.

In fact, along with java, i think in some installs of flash player/plugins it puts an entry in your startup to check for updates EVERY time you boot. Fuckers.

It's rather annoying, but the downloads are not big at all and they update fast... so it isn't much of a bother.

yes i agree the downloads are small and quick to install but it seems like twice a week i go to watch a flash video and firefox tells me i need to update the plug-in.........Vista 64-bit home premium btw
