So Ill keep this short. I was thinking the day after christmas would be the perfect day to do barcode swaping. People are going to be returning stuff like crazy and many stores are already having sales so I would assume many cashiers will not be paying attention to smaller price differences such as a low price tag from one jacket placed on a more expensive snow jacket, or something like that. Anyone else feel this way or have input?

I think you could do it, well that depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

I've done it many times when it isn't busy or the holiday season. Way too easy to do. I would recommend finding a price tag giving you a 25% to 50% MAX discount off the item. Anything more is greedy and runs a higher chance of having them re-run it through.

Yeah that'e the plan, The clothes I want are like 100 each so i figured if I got the price tag from ones that are about 50 cashiers wont notice. Clothing is easier at larger stores like Chicks or Sports Authority because they have so much that the cashiers cant keep track of what is marked down, so as long as it doesnt seem too good to be true I should be fine.

Today is good because all the employees are super burned out and sick of it all.
This is also just opinion and I have no proof but LP works like crazy right before christmas so it would be believable that they are light staffed today.

I just went out and I can definitely confirm that 90% of the employees do not even remotely look like they want to be there right now. The only people that even remotely seem like they care are the managers and even they are more relaxed than normal. To all considering this, I say go for it
