A mother believes a visit from an angel saved her sick daughter's life — and she has the photos to prove it.

Chelsea Banton, 14, was fighting for her life after a bout of pneumonia, a collapsed lung and subsequent infections saw her breathing with the aid of a ventilator at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital.

As her family gathered to say their final goodbyes and mother Colleen faced the decision on removing her life support, hospital staff noticed a mysterious bright light outside her room.

"On the monitor, there was this bright light," the Daily Mail reported Mrs Banton as saying.

"And I looked at it and I said, 'Oh my goodness! It looks like an angel!''

When nurses then took off her oxygen mask, Chelsea's vitals returned to normal.

A fortnight later, she returned home in time for her 15th birthday.

"The nurse practitioner who saw the image in the monitor said, 'I've worked here 15 years, and I've never seen anything like it'," Mrs Banton said.

Chelsea's mother captured the baffling light on the CCTV monitor with a digital camera.

"If [people] doubt it, that's fine ... but I know what I saw, and the picture's untouched," Mrs Banton said.

"I didn't make it up.

'I look at things differently than I used to, because I know God is in control."

Amazingly, it wasn't the first time Chelsea had escaped a brush with death.

Doctors reportedly gave her 36 hours to live after she was born five weeks prematurely, but she recovered to lead a relatively normal childhood.

"I'm learning that every day she's alive is a miracle," Mrs Banton said.

What's interesting about this photo is that one would assume the anomaly in question is simply light which has refracted from a metal or smooth surface, especially with the setting having a long, marble-like hallway, and many solid and smooth surfaces close by. However, when one looks a little further anyways, we find a few interesting conflicts with the initial assumption. For one, a death was occurring very near where this image appeared. Coincidence? Maybe. For two, if we take a close look at the inverted image, we see that at the very bottom of the anomaly, there is some straight-cut lines, but I do not see anything within the close vicinity which might have caused this cut-off. There is no square or sided objects between the anomaly and the available light source, all looks clear in all directions, yet we have an image of light which is cut off at the bottom. Thirdly, the angle of the image appears to be leaning slightly to the left, which would make sense if an entity did in fact just exit through that wall, heading for the hallway, coming from what looks to be a room on the other side of that wall. The apparent speed and direction of the image looks almost freeze-framed into two parts, as if the camera could not capture the entire movement in one shot, but produced two images in sequence on the same shot. And lastly, the image appears to be roughly in the shape of a body, with a smaller roundish shape on the top, and wider features at the middle - hardly evidence, but certainly coincidental, considering there appear to be no objects in the immediate vicinity which would cause light to make this multi-part shape. In cases like these, we can never rule out spook, but we can simply keep them in the back of our minds to compare with other similar captures.

In my experience, angels tend to look pretty much like everyone else.

In my experience, angels tend to look pretty much like everyone else. You're right. The scriptures indicate that angels walk among us, meaning we could not tell them apart from humans. Demons have been prohibited from taking a human form ever since the Flood, when they took daughters of men while posing in the guise of human flesh and produced superior human offspring (re: Nephilim). The Flood came and they had to abandon their human forms to escape death, and the scriptures report they were then prohibited from taking human shape, so it could actually be a demon we see here, rather than an angel. Demons can still invade a body and inhabit it, though, but cannot shape themselves into humans anymore.

Great post SpectraL. Can I get Biblical references for that?

Your post was a TL/DR, but that is a deamon. They also look like black orbs, but the backness in the orbs look like that. They fly around you 24/seven with angels, and spirits, but can only bee seen in hauntings, and in regular situations, if your mind's eye opens.

When you hear ticking, or house settling noises, which seem to increase when reading forums like this, or watching T.V. programs, the orbs are passing through the walls.

Every time an angel is caught on camera, the image is very blurry and of low quality.

Coincidence? I think not.

Coincidence? I think not. That's not really true at all. I have a collection of some VERY good shots of strange entities. There is even a video out there that shows one where the spook is caught on infrared camera, and it looked pretty damned clear and genuine to me.

Well, for one, we have a reputable and objective ghost hunting team who captured this crystal clear image on their thermal-imaging camera. It don't get much clearer than this (http://www.youtube.com/v/oCVbFV13AKw&hl=en&fs=1).

At work I am surrounded by about 18 CCTVs projecting images out of a bunch of server rooms, which are lit 24/7. If I pay close attention to them, I can easily see over 50 glitches like that in a night. Which is rather interesting, because the server rooms are filled with mainframes that store and process bank account information from a few big European banks.

Why would demons haunt server rooms? Next time I have to go down there to change a SCSI drive from one of the clusers, I'll look TWICE over both my shoulders. :(

Also, from now on I'm keeping all my savings in a sock under my pillow. Can't trust those damn mainframes with all those demons fucking about all the time.

Sorry to bring this all back down to earth, but a bright light could be caused by anything.
Certain materials look funny and blurry on CCTV.
I would have to research it more, but I am skeptical , a bright flash of light and some women saying "OMFG ANGEL!1111" does not mean it was one.

i saw the video of this picture i believe. I'm from Houston and I saw this on the news, they had the actual video, not just this picture. The entire doorway was glowing, changing brightness and area the glow covered. It was really crazy.
