Hell yeah.
It's got 245 recipes, sorted by ingredient, country, preparation time, calories (but who cares about that.) and favorites.
It's got explanations and pictures of every ingredient, every tool you use, each dish, and descriptions about each country in general.
It has useful tips, and videos, on how to prepare trout, squid, prawns, de-veining a chicken, julienning a carrot, and much more.
It has substitutions for exotic ingredients, personal choices (for the vegetarians out there) and shortcuts.
Step by step cooking instructions, with catchy tunes, voice and touch screen commands, and timers for the food you are preparing. (The microphone, by the way, works well.)
The only shortcoming I believe is that you can't put your own recipes in there. But oh well.
The most fun I've ever had with what I originally believed was DS shovelware, and a non-game in general. 9/10
