Hey, I got my fake ID taken at a liquor store and the guy called the cops. It had my real info on it. I know that's retarded. It was taken in a county adjacent to my county. Do you all think the cops will go through with it and hunt me down? How does it work jurisdiction-wise? Because the county it was taken in is pretty crime free, so they may take it more seriously, but my county has a lot of crime and I feel like they'd be less likely to worry about it. So what's the thoughts?

Thanks
madfast

EDIT: I'm 17 years old

Depends on how big your city/county is. If its a small-medium sized city/county most likely nothing will become of it especially if they know your under 18 they will probably just use it to keep you scared for a few days.

Which county? The one I live in or the one it was taken in? The one it was taken in could probably be considered medium sized, but not too dense. The one I live in is large and populous. Which deals with it?

And thanks, that's reassuring.

Just saying they probably have bigger issues to deal with in medium-large counties to give two shits about a underage coming in with a fake ID. That shit happens more then you think yearly in all counties nationwide. Smaller to medium sized counties depending on population density will also probably chalk it up to childs play and just give you a warning even if they did find you.
