Yes, another one. Anyway.
I have a laptop running Vista (inb4 shitstorm), and recently it wouldn't boot up. Through my own attempts, I finally have it booting up, and logging on, but the second it loads my desktop, it completely freezes. I've done a memory test, so it's not the memory. I definitely meet the required needs for Vista in terms of hardware. It isn't a cooling issue. It only loads essential programs when it starts up. I don't think it's a virus. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The laptop's only about a year old at the very most.
