I would be willing to have a look at this if it wasn't for the religious/magic/occult aspect.

The occult shit made me stop watching the series. I heard the name "Satan" and I just went "whoa, that's enough". It's a freaky-deeky show.

Lake night Sci-Fi channel on mondays shows these crazy anime movies with lots of sex/gore in them. Ninja Scroll is pretty good for a ninja flick with sex scenes, probably your best bet.

Inuyasha or any part of the Tenchi Muyo series.

Maybe I misunderstood. If it's romance you're looking for I'd recommend Fruits Basket, Honey and Clover, Ichigo 100%, Ouran High Host Club, pretty much any shoujo anime out there is going to have heavy romance elements.

I would suggest "10 cm per Second." It is a quite romantic series of short films about kids that grew up in love together. I say kids but it is mostly exposition and most of the films see them older.

I forgot Onegai Teacher/Twins. Very romantic. Theres another one I watched a while back about a brother and sister which was good.

could also try kodomo no jikan, if you don't mind feeling guilty while watching it. and you probably will keep watching it.

There you go. To the bitches who said Chobits did not fit the criteria he asked for, I removed it. I saw it in 05' so I'm pretty sure you wouldn't expect me to actually remember that it wasn't romance or love.

I'm not sure it that counts as explicit...

Well, probably explicitly perverted yes, but not love/romance like. I saw Chobits 4 years ago unlike you guys who probably saw it later than I did. It came out in 02' I am pretty sure.

It's been a long time since I've watched it, so I kind of don't remember it you dumbass. How is that not obvious? Maybe you need to come out of the closet.

Jesus way to come off as defensive. The way you stated your last remark it came off, at least to me, like "BWAHAHAHAHA I'm better then you because i saw it years before it became popular and you guys saw it" so i just wanted clarification.

Maybe you'd like some of the movies directed by Makoto Shinkai. If you want happy love stories I can't think of anything though...
