i'm sure most of you know this already but i just figured i'd share some of what i learned this year... DON'T EVER EVER EVER EVER try to be a rebound.... i learned this one the hardest way twice this year in about a 6 month period.... if a girl still has any feelings for her ex do not try to start anything with her... you can be there be her friend do whatever but chances are anything she tells you (i love you, you make me feel even better then my ex could, etc) is just feelings she still has for her ex that she just has to let out...
you might be able to play it and get laid or sum thing.... (i got some fun from both girls) bur keep it as that and only that... don't lead them on and don't get attached or you are opening a huge world of hurt and misunderstanding for the both of you...
i hope this advice helps i strongly urge the less wise of you take it.... also if any of the more experienced have any ideas of what i did wrong or wanna share there fuck ups and successes do whatcha do!
This guy speanks the truth, I went through more hurt than i can imagine when i fell in love ith a girl as a rebound. But you move on and find better people, people who will appreciate you and tell you they love you.
Keep your head up men.
What pisses me off is that I can't say "No shit, Sherlock." because about 75% of the people that post here probably wouldn't know this already.

I knew this, but I was so caught up in everything to actually stop and think about what I was doing. She seemed really into me and I was into her, but the OP is completely right. Don't do it. Even if you make it long term, you'll always know that there are suppressed feelings which makes you feel like you can never truly have her.

Oh. My god. SHUT UP. You're 15. You've probably experienced less of life than the floater I left at my gf's house yesterday. You are actually THE most annoying person I've ever seen on totse.

Chichi got served. And if he really is 15, I agree. There's a world of difference between 'knowing' the 'correct' way to act with a girl because you read it on the internet, and actually being there.
On the other hand, don't wait so long to avoid getting a girl on the rebound that some other guy swoops in when she's just getting over her ex and takes her from you. Identifying the precise cut-off point where the girl won't be emotional and clingy, her friends won't judge you negatively for 'taking advantage' and your friends won't judge you negatively for getting involved in something you shouldn't, yet where nobody else has caught her on the cusp of the golden 'actually ready to move on and find somebody else' stage is a tricky business and a fine art form; also, this sentence is excessively long.
