I am going to spend a month once I have recipes for every day, telling you exactly how my social experiment worked.


RULES:

I will eat Take out 1 night a week.
Takeout does not include the following "take out" items

Sushi, Kebabs (i was under the impression they werent THAT unhealthy). Subway(Minus Sauce+Addons+Salt and Pepper. (if this is unhealthy I apologize)


I will add rules as I go.

Any good tips you can give me are appreciated. (Meals to eat, what to eat for lunch/breakfast.)

The aim is to cut down on Pimples, Smelling bad while sweating.. Boils (I get boils on the back of my legs... ITS ANNOYING)

Thanks in advance. (I will clean this up when I really get this going) If I get friendly with my food changes, I will do this constantly.
My first step is setting up the mini fridge in my room.
I also have a freezer.
Thanks, nothing is really out of my price range as long as its reasonable for eating.. and its healthy.. But nothing excessive.. I am happy to buy bulk if its something tasty.

Could someone also give me a list on what to cut out of my diet completely, or to eat on rare occasions (things people eat frequently and don't even realize)

Do you eat many fruits/veggies? Yogurt is often recommended for a healthy gut. I use yogurt in place of mayo or salad dressing. Plain yogurt goes good with canned tuna. I like to get some of those pre-washed salads & put in some cukes, tomatoes, green peppers & celery. Then I add some oil & plain yogurt.

If you check the Goog/Wiki you'll see that taking Vitamin D is often said to be good for general health.

anyone else who would like to add something is welcome.

This will be a 1 month experiment, if I can manage it.. It will turn into a yearly experiment... (I know, unlikely.) I may eat healthily.. But still eat some bad food. (after my first month.)

Well no offense but your post was a tad vague..

Anyway, to contribute:

You can consider cutting out red meat from your diet, and eat white meat only, such as fish and chicken. Of course lots of vegetables and fruits are always good.

Cut down on dairy, dont drink milk, eat cheese rarely, etc...and avoid alot of sugar in a small timespan. Blood sugar swings fuck you up more than just a "crash," 'specially in the acne department. :D

Fruits and veggies are GREAT for you, obviously. Look up "Green Smoothies" and find your vice within, they are extremely healthy, and provide a very easy way to get alot of veggies in your daily diet, much easier than salads, etc.
It's basically a bunch of fruits and vegetables blended together.

a generalized healthy diet isn't as difficult to make as some people would have you believe.

Basic rules to follow:

-A healthy diet for a normal person is balanced: Atkins-like diets are not healthy. A good diet balances fat, protein and carbs and doesn't reject one or the other.

-Whole Grain over purified or simple sugars (whole wheat is a better choice than white)

-Healthy fat over Unhealthy fats; Healthy fats being things like uncooked oliveoil, nuts, soft cheeses/ Unhealthy being fried foods, heavy creams etc.

-Vegetables and Fruits are obviously part of a healthy diet; for vegetables a general rule of thumb is that the darker the color, the healthier the vegetable.

-And you want to be minimizing your simple sugar intake: Soft drinks, Candy, Sweets etc

-And lastly, white meat and fish should take priority over red meat. Many diet guides reccomend limiting red meat intake to once or twice a month.

5. wash your face 3-4 times per day with a sensitive cleanser
6.twice a week use a herbal exfoliant scrub to take off the dead greasy cells
7. get plenty of exercise and water
8. when you start healing apply vitamin E cream to reduce pitting and scarring

Also, could someone explain to me why red meat is supposedly bad? The only reason I can see is that american red meat is often feedlot trash, but thats more a reason against unnatural farming, not the meat itself. What about the portion sizes? Too much of something isn't good for you and most westerners tend to eat meat at least once a day.

Plus the way the food is digested by individuals will contribute, especially for those people who have a weak digestive system or weak enzymes. Aaaaaaand allergies can also arise if your glands have been exhausted leading to degenetive diseases.

Your supposed to eat the meat at the start of the meal and chew it heaps to ease digestion, I'm sure if people did this, or ate according to how well their glands function, meat would be no problem at all.

I eat nothing but meat and grains. My diet is high-protein. I have not eaten vegetables since I was a young boy, maybe eight years old. I occasionally take multivitamins, but they're nothing special. I have never been seriously ill or ill in general for that matter, aside from seasonal allergies.

to be honest with you DarkMage, i was just dribbling shit that i have read onto the keyboard and didnt give it a second thought. Now ive made some work for myself.

So i just did a bit of light reading and a meat diet is quite healthy indeed as long as fat goes along with it. Only eating lean meats will cause sickness. This is basically the Eskimos way of eating and they are among the healthiest in the world. But if a person is lacking in hydrochloric acid then a meat diet may not be ideal.

For the purpose of this post I think people usually cut down on meat when transforming their diet i dont know why perhaps the cholestorol or something. Grain fed cows, the way the meat is handled before it reach our fridge may also be a factor.

I usually have lamb, eye fillet, venison none of it is tough. i got that info from a book called lick the sugar habit.

Becoming healthy isn't a science. Cut down on fats, eat plenty of fruit and veggies, eat lean meat, do 40 minutes of moderate exercise everyday. Keep alcohol and other toxins to a minimum.

I used to be quite healthier than I currently am. The reason for the change is because I violated exactly this. More meat and alcohol now for sure.
