Hi. Firstly let me apologize to the mods if this isnt the right forum. I thought about posting this in the computer forum but decided not to because the problem sounded too simplistic, I think. Please feel free to move this thread as you see fit.

Question:

You know how the keys on the keyboard have like ``two sides``, right..For example my question mark key is on the left side along with the slash thing, however on the right hand side there are also two strange symbols like é and É

My problem is that sometimes for no reason whatsoever, my keys get all fucked up and I can`t type the ones I want, like right now, I can`t type the question mark because it comes out as this É

But sometimes it works and I dont know what it is that I did or didn`t do...omfg this is killing me can someone help please


p.s. also i dont want to have to get another keyboard, dont wanna spend money that i dont need to...

Hey calm down homo thug I'm trying to help you. Your OS even has a "help" menu where you can search on how to do shit. You seem smart enough to be able to install games and programs well guess how you uninstall them its in the same fucking panel.

Well thats certainly a way to get someone to help you out. Google that shit! Dont bring it to &T because you and I both know you are not going to get a straight answer.

the way i usually fix it, if the question mark is the "E" thing, hit CTRL+SHIFT then try question mark, if it doesnt work try again. it usually takes me a few trys, but it works.

Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Keyboard

Took me 3 seconds to figure this out, but it depends whether or not you used a cd to install drivers for it, otherwise your fucked.

Next time, keep the receipt and test it, then return if it's shit(say it didnt work with your computer)

Seriously, you are using a non english keyboard. Those things are designed for languages like german, spanish and french which require accent marks. So just go back to where you got it and change it out for an english keyboard and then do the control panel thing. Due to the fact something called plug and play is a bitch that will reset itself every so often due to the hardware.
