SO, I got a new laptop for christmas to help me along with school and all that. I've been downloading music for years, but I just used limewire because I didn't have to pay for the virus repairs and whatnot.

I got trend micro virus protection as a seperate gift and have installed it instead of shitty Norton.

Does anyone have suggestions for the best program/facility to download mass amounts of music on that won't corrupt my laptop?

Torrents for me. My friend loves soulseek, but I never had much luck with it.

Windows: Download uTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/download.php)

Mac: Download Transmission (http://www.transmissionbt.com/download.php)

Visit btjunkie (www.btjunkie.org), search for the CD you want, find the right file with the most seeders, least negative feedback, best quality etc. and download it.
