So I just went to get my truck inspected, and they no longer put the stickers on the windows, now the police can just run your tag and check it. But what im bitching about is they can now charge and extra 10 dollars just because the window had tint on it! I was enraged. It was factory tint on top of that... Its just a big money racket if you ask me!

Not sure what you're talking about. Do you mean inspection as in safety inspection? I remember in Cali we used to have to have our vehicles inspected every year or every other year [I can't exactly remember, they stopped doing it when I was around 8, which would make it ancient history]. They had these road side check points where I cop could wave you over if you didn't have a current sticker on your vehicle and they would do things like check the tire treads, wiper condition and other shit.

Yeah man im talking about the inspection that you have to have every year. The ones where they make sure you have proper tire tread and all your signals and lights work. The way they used to have it they would have a sticker and would punch out a certain month and year.

Florida got rid of that at least a decade ago. They never gave us stickers though, so I don't know how it was enforced. I think only a handful out of sixty-seven counties actually did it though.
