Okay.
I'll make this short and sweet.
I'm in a internet cafe. I need to find out which IP was assigned to me. Every time I try to find out, I get the router's IP. Also, if it makes any difference, I'm stuck in safe mode with networking because my laptop refuses to work otherwise. There are only 3 IP's on the network, and I can only see one laptop apart from mine in the cafe. Does anyone know how I can get this IP?

On GNU/Linux (http://gnewsense.org), it would just be ifconfig Freedom wins again.

How in the hell is that a win? It's the same damn thing.

Referring to how to do it if it was a Linux.
It is slightly different.

I'm in safe mode. It won't let me do that, even if I go into safe mode with command prompt. It opens it up, and then closes itself a second later.

Winkey + R > cmd > ipconfig /all...?

Winkey + R > cmd > ipconfig /all...?

As soon as I hit enter after typing ipconfig/all, it exits itself... I really should get a new laptop.

No, it isn't the same damn thing. You need to type five more character on the non-free operating system.

Pwned.

But, it still leads to the same place!

Yes, you will have to go five characters longer. Leave as early as you want.

Also, "ifconfig" includes characters mostly typed with the middle and index fingers, with only ONE character typed with the weak ring finger. "ipconfig /all" relies on the ring and pinky fingers a shocking SIX times.

I will leave as early as I want. Early bird catches the worm!

O_O

I don't think you understand the greatness of ipconfig /all and what it does for your typing skills and finger strength. It's helped me with my right hand coordination a bunch.

That'll just give you carpal tunnel. You'll die at 30.
