Over my vacation, I went on a little mini safari. I won't disclose my vacation details, because it sounds pretty lame, but I thought of a neat little idea because of this safari.
Would it be wrong to hire some mercs, fly to Africa, and shoot poachers for several months at a time?
I'm not an environmentalist nut, but I do like animals, and this would be a way to help conserve wildlife. Not to mention it would be fun.
Obviously I would need funds, so it would take a while before I'd have enough to make such a trip. It'd preferably be after I had a self-sustaining successful business, so I could take long absences and still make money.
I think of Africa as rather lawless, and you'd be out in the savanna/jungle, so chances of being caught are low. Plus, who would give a damn besides the poachers being killed? Everybody hates poachers.
I would hire a pilot to sweep across the land and pinpoint poacher camps. Then I'd try to engage them from as far as possible with sniper rifles. Close combat is the least preferable way of engagement because it puts me and my team in danger.
Suggestions or objections to my plan?
