i got a 360 for christmas and i want to know what games totse recommends for it. i have:

top spin 3
prince of persia
guitar hero world tour

i returned another game, but dont know what to get. i have some ideas like fallout 3 or unreal tournament 3, and i dont really want any more sports games, so any real suggestions would be helpful.

You can never beat Left 4 Dead, it's a multiplayer game that you can enjoy forever. Even after beating Expert on all four campaigns, you still have VS mode.

ok, then i beat it on normal co-op. i guess like most games, it would still be loads of fun to keep playing on different difficulties/multiplayer. but im mainly looking for something i havent played before. i havent played a whole lot of 360 games, but that is one i have, and i am just looking for something else.

The spawn points for everything are dynamic. No single playthrough plays exactly the same as another.

Dead Rising? Kinda old but fun. Also say left 4 dead, the mp is addicting.

You mentioned Unreal Tournament 3 great game! The co op is great fun challenging at times but fun! If you have a pc thats capable i would get on there instead so you have access to user created content. Still all in all i like it killed a fait few hours with me an my mate. One las thing the bastards arent bringing out a new one till theres a new xbox :mad:

Don't bother with the new PoP - it's okay, but not worth a full price tag. I got mine for £25 because GAME are trying to sell their way out of this recession.

prince of persia is pretty fun, the thing i dont like about it is that u cant die, ever. it would be more difficult with deaths, but i still like it nonetheless.

On a related note, in the UK GAME are pretty much selling all new games half price in their sale; it's got something to do with the recession, I believe.

I picked up Prince of Persia for £20, Fable 2 for £25, and saw Fallout 3 for £25 also. It's pretty win.

Don't buy Fallout 3; Get Left 4 Dead (or maybe Codwaw).

Fallout 3 is the best game I've played for years - if you like just an open world to explore you will like it.

Fable 2 is pretty good, CoDWaW is more of the same from CoD4 really, Dead Space and Left 4 Dead are both ok, Far Cry 2 is good too (apart from a few things that really get on your nerves after a while)

Just choose one that you think you might like. They are all worth buying so you can't really go wrong.

There really seems to be two types of people as far as Fallout is concerned. I would rent it, because there really is no guarantee that you will like it. I liked it, but I can understand how the poster above got bored with it.

CoD: WaW? Not worth 60 bucks. Not reasonably close either, unless you're THAT into the online multiplayer.

Dead Space always looked appealing to me, but I have yet to play it, so I can't really comment. If you played Resident Evil 4 and liked it, though, you can't really go wrong.

At least try fallout though, I'd say it is the game (out of these mentioned) that comes closest to being worth full retail price. My opinion.

Fallout 3 will last you awhile

Saint's Row 2 is fun and will also last you a long time

Dead Rising is still a unique and fun game even 3 years later, and there are a lot of cool unlockables

Oblivion GOTY edition is cheap now and IMO was much better than Morrowind. There's a lot to do in the game as well.

Left 4 Dead if you're in to multiplayer (you're already considering it. might as well just get it already)


My list will last you a long time depending on how much you play games. I don't know what you're looking for, but I usually buy games with a ton of replay value and things to discover/unlock.

The first one was shit compared to this one, GOW2 is pretty fun espically when you play horde with some buddies online. I'd get Left 4 Dead and COD4.
