A couple days ago i got a one red light on my xbox (E74 error)
and apparently the three-year warranty is only valid if you hav three red lights...so if i want 2 get it fixed i hav 2 pay 94 fuckin dollars......is there anyway i can make my xbox hav three red rings so i dont hav 2 pay?

Pretend to do all the steps they want you to do and tell them it didn't work.

Send your 360 back and get a new one.

They don't inspect every single console. They just take in the console and send you a different one. I've had cores and premiums come back regardless of what I sent them.

I can personally vouch for doing the heat thing. First cover all vents w/ foil. Then a towel. After it overheats (2 lights), put it in your freezer for an hour or two. Pull it out and repeat.
