What movies out there do you find to be disturbing, I mean made you upset that it was so disturbing, I have a very clear distinction between that and disgusting, like in Horror flicks.
Truly disturbing ones are a hell of alot more frightening. My choice is Wolf Creek , found it unsettling.

Running Scared was pretty disturbing due to that pedophile couple.

Hahah yeah, I think that's the one.
My nomination for this would probably be Hard Candy.

This.
Also, The Dark Hours.
What's that amatuer film about the jungle tribe, has a scene where a woman gets raped on a beach with a coconut? People used to say it was real because the people in the credits never came home or something
Anyone?

Yeah it was definitely disturbing but it sucked major penis balls.

Bodybags in the closet...*shudder*
Imprint from the Masters of Horror was a bit disturbing. That's about the best I can think of right now. Anything by Takashi Miike is sure to be disturbing.

Miike is known for his disturbing movies. But Imprint came off to me as more disgusting. It seemed to throw vile thing after vile thing at you. Billy Drago didn't help by overacting the way he did. I wouldn't recommend Imprint.

That's the one, and yes it's a terrible movie.
Creep made me feel canny uncomfortable the first time I saw it, mainly because I had to go on the London underground to get to my hotel that night :(
But it's a fucking good film I tell ya.

Actually yes, you're right. I just remembered bits and pieces. I'd forgotten all about Drago's godawful acting. The fucking worst in any movie outside of Plan 9.

I found Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance made me uncomfortable, and similarily, Sympathy For Mrs. Vengeance.
I'm not sure what the order of the films are, but they are both in the Vengeance trilogy, Oldboy being the final (and most popular).

Concerning those of you who have said Cannibal Holocaust, I think the only disturbing part to that film involves the crew members who thought up the goriest scenes. The movie itself is just raw, and really is "the one that goes all the way!"
Yeah it was definitely disturbing but it sucked major penis balls.

Bodybags under the plastic floor...:)
Also, as said before, alot of takashi miikes films have come off as unsettling. It doesnt help he also trys to shock his viewers with the gore and violence
2 films to check out would be ichi the killer and Audition.

Don't expect Ichi to make sense in the slightest though.
Do expect to be turned on by the torture scene in Audition (c'mon, I wasn't the only one...).

Ichi the Killer makes perfect sense.

Confessions of a Serial Killer and Deranged. Both just stuck with me for some reason. Maybe because I was around 13 when I first saw them. The rape/throat slitting scene in Confessions I can still remember pretty fucking clearly.
Gonna have to watch those again and see if they still have that affect on me.

Ah, it turns out you have only seen ichi the killer once or twice....the ending may not make much sense (thoughts going through your head "hanging old man and random guy? WTF) but i have my theories on the film......
