I'm thinking about starting up Krav Maga. I have no training in any fighting styles/systems, and I've only recently become interested in learning one.
From looking at videos on youtube, it just looks like dirty fighting.
Every other strike is a kick to the groin for example.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge regarding Krav Maga?
Could someone recommend something better for street fights and self defense?
At first I was hyped and ready to sign up for classes, but in a lot of videos it looks like pussy fighting.
example 1 (looks ok): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ6uWVqVOw4&feature=related
example 2 (uggggggh): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBkmSvglUc
tl dr; would Krav Maga be a good fighting style to learn for realistic self defense and street fighting, and if not what would be better to learn instead?
