A blank post only indicates that the poster is a dumbfuck who is playing games with the forum software. It *should* result in a defacement infraction, and accordingly a one month ban, since you're making the threads/forums harder to navigate and use (which is one of the dictionary definitions of defacement).

If I see blank posts in a forum, I delete them. If I see more than one or two from a poster, I ban them. (Well, actually I warn them first, then ban if they continue.) It's that simple.
