The Jew’s were given the land by the British; who are the real perpetrators of the last 60 years of conflict. Instead of a clean and ordered transition they pretty much gave the deed to Israel to the Jew's then hightailed out of there. Almost immediately after, every bordering Arab country invaded Israel to try and push the Jews back into the sea which failed, andthey were the clear aggressors. 20 odd years later they tried the same shit with the 6 day war and later Yom Kippur war; both of which were initiated by multiple countries on Israel. The territory Israel seized was from the invading countries to act as a buffer from futher invasions which is rather mild when you consider what the invaders would have done to Israel had they won. THe Jews did not "Invade" Israel and they did not steal land. They occupied enemy territories in a perfectly reasonable act of self preservation. Again, the whole situation is Britain’s fault.

As for the Palestinian's, they are an unfortunate casualty in the cross-fire, but they stopped being innocent when they formed extremist factions intent on killing every last Jew through terrorism and war. Israel has tried multiple times to come to a compromise but either someone like Arafat fucked his own people with his greed and corruption and denied them an Israeli compromise because such a thing would have cost him most of his power as a leader of a cause which has made him wealthy, or the people elect a faction such as Hamas over Fatah and by extension crush any incentive the Israeli's have of trying to hammer out a negotiation because Hamas is so fundamentally extreme and unbending.
