So my dad says he heard there is some shit I can sign them up for online that will e-mail them updates for things like my BCT graduation and other such shit. Do any of you know what he's talking about and/or how to do that?

ive never heard of anything like that.. maybe? i know they send something to your family with info on your grad dates.. if they know what company you're in they can also look it up on the website of whatever fort you're going to, that's what my mom and friends did..

also, you'll KNOW what day you graduate and all the info and you can tell your family yourself :/
