So here's what's up. Apparently the last person assigned to my cell phone number (which I got about two months ago) had incurred multiple credit defaults. This has obviously led to the collection agencies calling the shit out of my phone number, all the while believing that I'm bullshitting about who it is they're talking to.

As a result I have become extremely constipated. :mad:

Today I sent a letter by certified mail explaining that I am not who they think the number belongs to, along with a copy of my contract from the cell phone service provider; should they call me again I'll probably file a deposition against them for harassment in small claims court.

lair you know those bills are yours. We all know you are giving hummers all day in the bathroom at the bus station for free. Just put a tip jar on the floor for awhile. You can always go back to freebies later after you pay your porn bill

well if they continue, you should fuck with them. this happened to me once and i told them i WAS the person, and i had no intention of paying the bills. told them i had a plan the whole time to steal money from their company. it changed her attitude a lot and i think they went to the next step in the process (suing him or whatever) rather than trying to collect by phone. it was pretty funny and they stopped calling. fucking debt collectors.
